Wellness

Spiritual-Spiritual    wellness includes developing and maintaining an intimate relationship with God.

The final and arguably the most important component of wellness is spiritual wellness.  When we are feeling most stressed and overwhelmed by life, we need to turn to our true source of life, comfort, and healing, our walk with Christ and relationship with God.  Spiritual wellness includes more than attending and participating in church services.  We need to enhance our intimacy with God through prayer, reading, studying, and meditating on His word.  True intimacy comes from spending quality time with our Father.

Steps to enhance spiritual wellness:

        1.  Diligently seek the kingdom of God.  (Matthew 6:33)

        2.  Pray continually.  (Ephesians 6:18)

        3.  Seek His will and for your life and follow the Spirit's direction. (Roman 12:1-2)

        4.  Meditate and spend time alone with God.  (Psalm 131)

        5.  Participate in fellowship and worship.  (Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2Z:42-47)
